Since its inception, RIVES has always sought to deconstruct the men’s suit to deliver a lighter, sleeker interpretation that echoes the elegance of the times. It is maybe even this creative gesture that characterises the stylistic approach of RIVES as well as the DNA of its silhouette.

But to make possible this work of a pure silhouette, it was fundamental that RIVES be accompanied by a partner of excellence, a traditional Atelier and guarantor of the beautiful sartorial way, but one that also has the flexibility to adapt to the new demands of RIVES and to give life to its deconstructed, reconstructed and deconstructed again models

This has been done in the person of the Atelier de Porto and the craftsmen who make up its ranks. Located in the north Portugal, the Atelier has a wealth of know-how that has been passed down for three generations. However, the richness of this heritage and the weight of tradition did not inhibit the thirst for creativity and the desire to push back the limits of what seemed possible. It is for this skilful and precious blend of tradition and progress, know-how and creativity, that RIVES and this workshop are now partners, and have been for nearly 6 years.
