RIVES respects your concerns about the privacy of the personal data we collect. RIVES is thus committed to protecting and guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of its customers’ personal data in accordance with the GDPR, in particular by taking all the necessary precautions to prevent this data from being distorted, damaged or that unauthorized third parties have access.
Technical security and management measures in accordance with the state of the art, in particular with regard to information systems, have been implemented. However, RIVES does not control all the risks associated with the operation of the Internet and draws users’ attention to the existence of potential risks associated with its use and operation.
RIVES collects personal data to register and process your orders, for the creation of your personal account, your subscriptions to the newsletter and the management of your relations with customer service.
When ordering, RIVES collects the following personal data: surname and first name, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery and billing address, and means of payment which are necessary for the processing of your requests.
The information that is mandatory to enable us to process your orders or requests is identified with an asterisk on the collection forms. If you leave these mandatory fields empty, we will not be able to process them.
The personal data collected is communicated only to RIVES service providers who, as subcontractors within the meaning of the GDPR, intervene and contribute directly to the management of orders and customer service; such as logistician, payment service provider, technical site service providers.
The management of orders and their payment involve the transfer of data to countries outside the European Union but which provide an equivalent level of protection.
In order to fight against fraudulent payments during online purchases, the payment provider implements a risk assessment and fraud prevention procedure by algorithm.
The data may also be transmitted to third parties when you have given us prior consent to such transmission or when RIVES is summoned at the request of a judicial authority or any other administration to transmit this data.
The customer’s personal data is only kept for the period strictly necessary for the purposes set out above.
According to the GDPR, the customer has a right of access, rectification and opposition to his personal data.
