Each piece is crafted from fabrics sourced from some of Europe’s finest houses – Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil, Drapers… Emblematic drapers chosen for the exceptional quality of their fabrics, their exacting standards and their sense of innovation. The fall of a suit jacket, the hand of a man’s shirt, the durability of a Waistcoat: each selected fabric embodies the highest standards. Once the material has been chosen, the challenge is to give it shape, with precision and intention. Our workshops have mastered all the traditional techniques – handmade horsehair interlining, hand finishing, Milanese buttonholes, invisible English seams… – and put them at the service of a wardrobe freed from unnecessary ornamentation. Every customer deserves a garment tailor-made designed with him in mind, down to the smallest detail, to suit his figure, lifestyle and desires. That’s why we’ve designed a clear, three-step process, where each step is guided by listening and exchange.

1. Exchange and stylistic orientation

You share your desires, your inspirations, your needs. The role of our stylists is to listen, analyze and come up with initial proposals. This dialogue forms the basis for future creations: it enables us to define together the ideal piece, whether it’s a tailor-made wedding suit, a wedding gown or a bridal gown. or another piece from the RIVES men’s wardrobe.

2. Measurement and choice of material

In the second step, we take all your measurements. These will be interpreted and translated into a unique pattern, specific to your morphology. This is also the time to decide on the fabric, lining and finishing of your Tailor-made suit. Every detail counts: buttons, pockets, darts, lapels, bending, length… Nothing is standardized, everything is customizable.

3. Fitting and adjustment

Then it’s time for the fitting. This is where you discover your tailor-made garment. to evaluate the fit and adjust any final details. Alterations are carried out in our workshop, directly attached to the boutique, offering you responsiveness and flexibility.

Beyond this three-step experience, RIVES supports each customer over the long term. The pattern of your men’s suit or any other tailor-made piece is preserved, your preferences are noted and your wardrobe can evolve piece by piece, with overall coherence. Our stylists are available at any time to enrich, develop or complete your wardrobe.

Every Tailor-made suit is unique or tailor-made garment requires time, attention and precise coordination between stylists and workshops. At RIVES, we opt for controlled production, with deadlines adjusted to the needs of each customer.

The average lead time for a tailor-made suit is five weeks from the time the measurements are taken. This time is needed for pattern-making, fabric cutting and suit-making in our partner workshops. Once the piece has been made to your image, a fitting is scheduled. The final adjustments, made in Paris in our workshop adjacent to the boutique, offer great flexibility. For example, if required, we can organize several fittings on the same day, so that you can leave with your suit without further delay.

This point is always discussed in advance with your Tailor-made stylist, in order to anticipate the schedule according to your personal or professional constraints.

Some special requests – a technical piece, an original cut, an entirely new development – may require additional time, particularly for the development of a tailor-made prototype. In such cases, the stylist will inform you at the outset of any additional steps and lead times.

We also offer an express service for tailor-made suits or other made-to-measure garments, made possible by our collaboration with traditional workshops on a human scale, capable of adapting to urgent requests. In this context, a Tailor-made suit is can be completed within ten working days, from measurement to fitting. This service is subject to workshop availability and may limit certain customization or fabric options.

Our priority is to provide you with the right support, while respecting your deadlines. In the event of an imminent event, we do our utmost to dress you in time. The real luxury, however, is time, so we recommend that you contact us at least two months in advance for a wedding or other special occasion.

Finally, for our regular customers whose tailor-made pattern is preserved, lead times can be shortened. Ordering a new item or upgrading your wardrobe becomes much easier, without having to go through the whole process again.

At RIVES, your made-to-measure suitjacket orwaistcoat orany other piece of your tailor-made wardrobe is a unique creation, the price of which varies according to the material chosen, the level of personalization and the complexity of the piece. We have opted for total transparency: our prices are communicated to you at the very first meeting, once the outlines of the project have been defined with your stylist.

The price of a two-piece tailor-made suit starts at €1,390. This price includes the entire process: stylistic exchange, measurements, pattern creation, fitting(s) and final adjustments. It also includes assistance in choosing the right fabric from a selection of quality fabrics from leading manufacturers such as Loro Piana, Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry and Ermenegildo Zegna.

Certain options – traditional interlining, the development of a new design or the selection of rare fabrics – can increase the price. These additional costs are always clearly discussed with the customer before the order is placed.

Other tailor-made wardrobe items follow the same logic. A tailor-made shirt starts at €265, a coat at around €1,740, and a jacket from €940. Here again, price depends on fabric and level of complexity.

We also offer an express service option (10 working days – for men in a hurry to put on a suit tailor-made or for last-minute special occasions) for which a supplement is applied depending on the project. This service is subject to validation according to the period and workshop availability.
